Bereavement
Taylor Hospice is dedicated to assisting the family members and friends of our patients to cope with the difficult transition faced with the serious illness and loss of a cherished loved one. Our trained counselors and volunteers will provide support for up to a year following the death of the patient. Through home visits, telephone calls, letters and support groups, we are available to those struggling with the issues surrounding grief. We understand that the road traveled is different for everyone and we are there to help you with the twists and turns that you may encounter on your journey.
In addition to the support provided to individuals, Taylor Hospice hosts semi-annual Celebration of Life Services on the lawn of the Taylor Hospice Residence. Held in May and November, the services are an opportunity for honoring the memory of those we have lost and hopefully, finding joy and comfort in those memories.

Despite the threat of rain, the Celebration of Life was attended by
approximately 150 friends and families on Sunday, May 23rd.
Our thanks to all who attended and, most especially, to our special guests,
keynote speaker Rabbi Jeff Sultar and Margie Berger for her
beautiful musical accompaniment
